So once again I am going to return to this recipe, quick and easy, no messing around, no fudging around, and something that can feed a few people in about 90 minutes. And also certainly something that will last in your fridge for a few days.
Ingredients:
1. One box or bag of Pasta noodles, in a any shape you like them and can be spinach pasta as well.
2. 2.5-3 cups of grated cheese - any type you like (or you can mix some different ones.)
3. 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil or butter
Utensils You Need:
1. Pot to boil the noodles
2. Colander - (a metal or plastic container with a perforated bottom, for draining and straining foods.)
3. Oven ready dish to bake the Macaroni and Cheese
Directions:
1. Boil the macaroni in water until soft. (Usually 20 minutes). Remember to put enough water in there so it covers the macaroni and does not boil out.
2. Take the pot with the macaroni, and pour it into the colander.
3. Put either one Tablespoon of olive oil or melted butter on bottom of the oven ready dish. Cover it entirely. (This insures it does not burn and will create a crunchy crust on the bottom.)
4. Dump the macaroni in the oven ready dish.
5. Take 1/2-1 cup of cheese and mix it in the macaroni.
6. Place all the remaining cheese on top so that it totally covers the top of the macaroni in a neat layer.
7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
8. Turn your oven on to approximately 350ยบ Fahrenheit.
9. Turn timer on for 45 minutes. Check the macaroni. If you want a more crusty layer, put it back in for another 15 minutes - with aluminum foil still on.
10. More crusty? Take aluminum foil off and put in for 5 minute intervals. Keep your eye on it so top does not burn.
